ABOUT ELEIDA
Hi! I’m Eleida, a fan of beautiful and livable homes…a fan of practical design services and processes that allow me to work virtually or in-person to create your idea of your next level home. My husband and I are empty nesters who, after living in a big home for 29 years, decided to downsize and do a major renovation. As much as we sometimes miss the school backpacks and bedrooms with shinny starts on the ceiling, our home now is mostly for us grown-ups (and I say “mostly” because I’m staring into a room that also has toddler grandkid toys;). Many of my clients have also been renovating and redecorating for our empty nester grown-up stage. So I get it, having a home that is beautiful and comfortable for you, can now be a priority. A home where you can entertain family but are also proud to host friends in.
Even though I have lived in the Atlanta, GA area most of my life, growing
up in San Juan, Puerto Rico had an impact on my love for color. I love to tastefully add color, whether muted or bright, to add more personality to your decor.
I moved to Georgia when I was 17, and went to college at UGA…go dawgs! I met my husband shortly after, we have lived in the Atlanta area ever since, and have two daughters who live close by…yeah!
We love spending time at Lake Lanier with family and friends – boating, kayaking, jet skiing, or just floating.
A short escape to the Caribbean in the winter a treat too… did I say I love the water?
OUR HOME RENOVATION
We may have been known for buying a fixer upper or two, have buyer’s remorse, live through the renovation, and in the end be glad we did it. Our last one was our downsize home. Sometimes when you want something specific you have to buy a major fixer upper! We wanted a ranch with high ceilings, at a great price, and in a subdivision with amenities…so here we went! Moved and opened walls inside, added a front porch, new hardwood floors, and the list was looong. I’ll let a few “before and after” pictures speak for themselves, and more landscape and decorating has been done since. We may have been a little crazy taking this on, but I’m happy we did!
